365 Project Dec. 17-23

Wow. Christmas is almost here! The trees are up (mostly) and outside of the house has lights this year. Eh, there’s always next year, right? I’d go shopping for more goodies on Dec. 26 (love to do that) but I’m lucky enough to have a family photo shoot that day and I’m going to do it up right (I hope). Pray for good weather until after that morning, OK? I know a white Christmas would be lovely, but right now I really want to do this shoot!

I participated in a photo contest type of event on Saturday and the theme was "view." I had exactly 2 hours before we needed to go visit family so here's a "view" of the tree through glasses!

The birds were certainly out in force (or maybe I could just see them better with the leaves off the trees. I even spotted a bald eagle flying over the river near work. The photo did not turn out well, but I’m getting closer to photographing that majestic bird in the wild!
