A Beautiful Walk {Charlottesville, Va. Photographer}

In the past year I have discovered what I believe is the Charlottesville-area’s greatest gem–Ivy Creek Natural Area. As I’ve developed my photography, I’ve visited this park many, many times over the past year–through all four seasons. It’s a beautiful park–and one that is practically laid out for the perfect photo session! I intend to recommend this site for senior portraits, family portraits, couples’ portraits, portraits of children–really anything will work!

There are two large grassy areas, there is water, there is no shortage of trees, a beautiful barn, paved walkways, and more!

I walk at this park several times a week–always camera in hand–exploring the locations and the lighting (and getting some great exercise to boot!). This week I enjoyed a lunchtime walk–meeting up with this beautiful doe and wanted to share. Hope the photos bring you joy, as her presence did for me.

I cannot wait for fun photo shoots in this park–as well as seeing what other wildlife I discover in this park this year. Setting aside some weekends in April for Mommy & Me mini-sessions at Ivy Creek, as well as photographing my Senior Model Representatives!!
