I love the Rock the Dress sessions that brides have started to do. Some might call it “Trash the Dress,” but I like to think of it as “rocking” the dress! And I thought it would be a fun aspect to proms, too. So, I grabbed four 8th graders who the weekend prior had attended their own “8th grade prom/formal” and hit the park! The girls were so much fun! They were up for anything and I could have snapped photos of them ALL DAY!! But two of them needed to get home for a soccer game so that wasn’t an option. The girls even played a little game of keep away with the soccer ball and in their heels–so. much. fun.

This is something I will encourage my senior clients to do–bring previous prom or formal dresses and we’ll find some creative ways for you to rock that dress again! Why wear it only one time? Let’s have some fun!
